John Michael Chappell

Mr. John Michael Chappell of Vernon Hill passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Virginia Baptist Hospital in Lynchburg. He was born in Halifax County on December 26, 1969 and was 44 years old. He was the son of the late John William Chappell and Janice Conner Chappell and was married to Brenda Lee Edmunds Chappell. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Survivors include: His wife Brenda Lee Edmunds Chappell of Vernon Hill His mother Janice Conner Chappell of South Boston His brother William Lee Chappell of Danville A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Wilkins officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, 1055 Conner Trail, South Boston on Tuesday evening from 6-8:00 PM and other times at his home, 3137 Thompson Store Road, Vernon Hill.
