Frieda Worsham Kipps

Mrs. Frieda Worsham Kipps of South Boston, Virginia died Tuesday, May 13, 2014. She was born in Halifax County, VA on April 29, 1933 and was 81 years old. She was the daughter of the late Bernard Thornton Worsham and Della Florence Graves Worsham. She was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Survivors include: Three daughters Anita K. Canady of Chesterfield County, VA Lisa Kipps-Brown and husband Tom of Halifax Janey K. Sandoval and husband Sal of San Antonio, TX One sister Glola W. Osborne of South Boston Four grandchildren Ashley Canady, Ryan Canady, Glenn Brown, and Erin Brown She was preceded in death by a sister, Janey Frances Worsham Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. Dr. Susan Grimm officiating. Burial will follow at Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home on Friday evening from 7-8:30 PM and other times at her home, 200 Powell Road, South Boston.
