Frances Easley Wooding

Mrs. Frances Easley Wooding,77, of Burlington, NC died April 10, 2014 at the Hospice Home. A native of South Boston, VA she was the wife of the late Hubbard Marshall Wooding, Jr. and the daughter of the late Thornton Jordan Easley and the late Frances Mae Chaffin Easley. She was a former bookkeeper and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a son, Thornton Wooding and wife Teresa of Burlington, NC; daughter, Margaret W. Gleason and husband Russell of McLeansville, NC; sister, Betty Moseley and husband William of Greensboro, NC, and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Wooding Adams. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service starting at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home.
