Frances Wilborn Forlines

Mrs. Frances Wilborn Forlines of Virgilina, VA died Sunday, March 30, 2014 at her home. She was born in Halifax County, Virginia on November 23, 1920 and was 93 years old. She was the daughter of the late Lynn and Annie Wilborn and married to the late Charlie Walton Forlines. She was a member of the Hitesburg Baptist Church where she was the oldest member. Mrs. Frances Wilborn Forlines is survived by: One Daughter Elizabeth F. Smith and husband Wayne of Virgilina Two Grandchildren Carl Smith and wife Carol of Virgilina Randy Smith of Virgilina One great grandchild Michael Lee Smith of Virgilina Special friends, Cynthia Blue, Makayla Blue, David Williams and Jewel Williams Preceded in death by 6 sisters, Nita Wilborn, Sue Deniston, Joy Redd, Pearl Mayne, Polly Talley, and Sara Goodwin. Five brothers, Frank Wilborn, Loris Wilborn, Waylon Wilborn, Sterling Wilborn, and Gene Wilborn. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Riley officiating. Burial will follow at the Hitesburg Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Powell Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7-8:30 PM and other times at her home, 3011 Buckshoal Road, Virgilina, VA.
