Mrs. Mabel Perkins Conner of Halifax, Virginia died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at her home. She was born in Halifax County, Virginia on February 7, 1931 and was 83 years old. She was the daughter of the late Issac L. Perkins and the late Ethel P. Perkins and was married to the late Andrew Thomas Conner. Mrs. Mabel Perkins Conner is survived by: Three Daughters Joann Aldridge and husband Rick of Orange, VA Frances Loftis and husband Pete of South Boston Lois Foster and husband Chris of Halifax Four Sons Issac Conner and wife Joanna of Yanceyville,NC Thomas Conner of Nathalie, VA Charles Conner and wife Kim of Halifax, VA Roger Conner and fiance April Tingen of Halifax, VA Ten Grandchildren Eight Great-Grandchildren One Great-Great Granddaughter One sister, Hazel Hersman of Richmond, VA Preceded in death by three brothers Andrew Perkins, Daniel Perkins and Charlie Perkins Graveside services will be Monday, March 31, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Union UMC Cemetery, Halifax, VA with the Rev .Todd McClure officiating.
