Evelyn Inge "Byrd" Young

Mrs. Evelyn Inge (Byrd) Young of South Boston, Virginia died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at her home. She was born in Halifax County, Virginia May 12, 1926 and was 87 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Hurley Montague Inge and Lelia Baker Compton Inge and was also preceded in death by her husband Henry Preston Young, Jr. Mrs. Young was as member of First Presbyterian Church, South Boston, Virginia. B. of Nathalie, VA Margaret Spencer of Glen Allen, VA Hallie T. Owen (Rufus) of Denniston, VA Three Nephews: Samuel Torian of Virgilin a, VA Edward R. Young & wife Grace of South Boston, VA J. Inge Funeral Services for Mrs. Evelyn Inge (Byrd) Young will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 2:00 P. M. with the Rev. Russell Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
