Bobbie Howard Taylor

Mrs. Bobbie Howard Taylor of South Boston, Virginia died Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born in Halifax County, Virginia March 30, 1932 and was 81 years of age. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Craddock Howard and Gladys Younger Howard and was also preceded in death by her husband John G. Tayor, Jr. . Mrs. Taylor was a member of the First Baptist Church of South Boston, the AARP, and was a retired as an Operating Room Nurse at Halifax Regional Hospital. Mrs. Bobbie Howard Taylor is survived by: One Son: John G. Taylor III & wife Angela of South Boston, VA One Sister: Mary Holloway of South Boston, VA Two Grandchildren: John G. Taylor, IV of South Boston, VA Rachel Elizabeth Taylor of South Boston, VA ***In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Howard Ransone. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Bobbie Howard Taylor will be held at First Baptist Church, South Boston, Virginia, Sunday , February 23, 2014 at 2:00 P. M. with the Rev. Dave Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Immediately following the burial, a reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the home of John and Angela Taylor, III, 5168 Bill Tuck Hwy., South Boston, Virginia.
