Mrs. Clevie Amerson Cole of Scottsburg, Virginia died Monday, February 17, 2014 at Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born in Darlington County, South Carolina, September 7, 1941 and was 72 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Gary Lewis Amerson and Mary Lucille Watford Amerson and is survived by her husband Henry Oscar Cole. Mrs. Cole was a member of Lamar Baptist Church, Lamar, South Carolina. Mrs. Clevie Amerson Cole is survived by: Her Husband: Henry Oscar Cole of Scottsburg, VA One Daughter: Shelia Rae Moody of Timmonsville, SC Two Step-Sons: Mark Cole and wife Vanessa of South Boston, VA Christopher Lee Cole of Wrightsville Beach, NC One Step-Daughter: Debra C. Haley & husband Lee of Charlotte, NC Five Grandchildren Two Great-Grandchildren One Sister: Geraldine Kirby-Lowrimore of Rock Hill, SC One Brother: Gary LeGrande Amerson of Darlington, SC She was preceded in death by: Two Sons: Ronald Ellison Moody and David Wayne "Boobi" Moody One Brother, Linwood Amerson The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 18, 2014, from 7-8:30 P. M. at the South Boston Church of God and other times at her home 1031 South Terry's Bridge Road, Scottsburg, VA. Funeral services will be held at Belk Funeral Home in Lamar, South Carolina and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider the Halifax County Cancer Association, P. O.
