Elsie Rebecca Inge Lowery

Mrs. Elsie Rebecca Inge Lowery of South Boston, Virginia died Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Woodview Nursing Home. She was born June 6, 1931 in Halifax County, Virginia and was 82 years old. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Martin Inge and the late Inez May Moore Inge and married to the late Waverly Lee "Tom" Lowery. She was member of the Shady Grove United Methodist Church. She is survived by: One Half-Brother Ernest Beale Inge of South Mills, NC Five Nieces Wanda Overcash Metzer Jonette Inge Talbott Brienda Overcash Prater Susan Inge Thomasson Elizabeth Inge Two Nephews Ronald Beale Inge and Michael Reid Overcash Preceded in death by: One brother, Douglas Bryant Inge One sister, Edith Inge Overcash One nephew, Douglas Mitchell Inge Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Townsend officiating. Burial will follow in the Dan River Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
