Thomas Allen Reeves

Mr. Thomas Allen Reeves of Halifax, Virginia, VA died Sunday January 19, 2014 at the home of his daughter, Joan Reeves Puryear. He was born in Halifax County, Virginia on December 18, 1928 and was 85 years old. He was the son of the late John Daniel Reeves and the late Mary Ethyl Wood Reeves and married to the late Glenna Cunningham Reeves. He was a member of the Dan River Baptist Church and retired from VDOT. He is survived by: Two Daughters Joan Reeves Puryear and husband Michael of Clover Vicky Reeves Cassada of South Boston Three Grandchildren Chris Canada Kelley Nunn Harvey Womack Five Great Grandchildren A number of nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dan River Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Gibson and the Rev. Larry Frakes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
