Ella Owen Fulcher

Mrs. Ella Owen Fulcher of Summerfield, NC formerly of Halifax, Virginia died Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born in Halifax County, Virginia on May 2, 1942 and was 71 years old. She was the daughter of the late Otis Holt Owen and the late Rosa McCormick Owen. She was married first to the late Samuel Lacks, then to the late Garland Shively and then to Bobby Glenn Fulcher, who survives. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and the W.O.W. Mrs. Ella Owen Fulcher is survived by: Her Husband Bobby Glenn Fulcher of Summerfield, NC Two Daughters Cindy Lacks Smith and boyfriend Clifton Dodson of Summerfield, NC Deborah Shively Wilborn and husband Anthony of Summerfield, NC Two Step-Sons Michael Glenn Fulcher and wife Sherry of Wake Forest, NC John Glenn Fulcher and wife Michelle of South Boston One Sister Betty F. Conner and husband Will of Scottsburg One Brother John A. Owen and wife Bessie of South Boston Eight Grandchildren Megan Smith, Noah Samuel Smith, Ashleigh Wilborn, Payne Fulcher, Lauren Fulcher, Kristen Fulcher, Hunter Fulcher and Luke Fulcher Preceded in death by: One brother, James " JD." Owen Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Odom, the Rev. Roger Barricks and Pastor Larry Luffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
