Doris Bayn e Rice

Mrs. Doris Bayne Rice of Alton, Virginia died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born June 10, 1926 in Lunenburg County, Virginia and was 87 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Washington Bayne and the late Mary Eldora Baugh Bayne and was married to the late Earnest Elton Rice. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, South Boston Congregation. Mrs. Doris Bayne Rice is survived by: Two Sons Ronald Wayne Wallace of Halifax Jay "Corky" Stauble, Sr. & wife Pamela of Alton One Daughter Linda Wallace Ross & husband Kenneth of Mebane, NC Seven Grandchildren Seven Great-Grandchildren A Special-Caregiver - Patricia ***She was preceded in death by a son, Bernard "Bennie" Wallace A Memorial Service for Mrs. Doris Bayne Rice will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 2:00 P. M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Elder William Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends at the chapel for one hour prior to the service.
