Mrs. Mary Frances Poole Clay of Nathalie, Virginia died Saturday, December 28,2013 at Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born in Gastonia, North Carolina October 23, 1951 and was 62 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Sara Beatrice Edward and is survived by her husband Ocie Calvin Clay. Jackson & husband Willie of Nathalie Teresa Tate & husband Michael of Ringgold Brenda Thompson & fiance Ronnie Chappell of Red Oak Three Step-Daughters: Lisa Lewis of Nathalie Linda Francis of Brookneal Donna Clay of South Boston Two Sisters: Debra Poole of Nathalie Lillian Quinn of Louisa Six Grandchildren: Rebbecca Clay, Johnny Clay, Jonathan Tate, Christopher Tate, Justin Jackson and Ashley Jackson Four Great-Grandchildren: Andrew King, Hanna King, Adriana Clay and Amiah Scott Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Frances Poole Clay will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Danny Brizendine officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at the home 1058 McKeever Trail, Nathalie, VA
