Mrs. Margaret Clay Childrey of Halifax, Virginia died Monday, December 30 , 2013 at Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia on August 26, 1937 and was 76 years old. She was the daughter of the late George Robert Clay and Mary McKinney Clay and was married to the late Wilson Childrey. Mrs. Margaret Clay Childrey is survived by: Two Sons: Dale Childrey of Gypsum, Colorado Dean Childrey & wife Tammy of Halifax,VA One Daughter: Cindy Amos of Eden, NC Four Grandchildren: John Ray Childrey, Jessica Messick, Krystal Childrey & Steven Childrey Two Sisters: Willie Murphy of South Boston, VA Her Twin Sister Fleecy Clay of Gretna,VA One Brother: Anderson Clay of Pittsville, VA ***She was preceded in death by: Three Sisters: Florence Clay, Pearlie Barbour and Chaney Mann One Brother: Gene Clay A Graveside Service for Mrs. Margaret Clay Childrey will be held Thursday, January 2, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Halifax Memorial Gardens with the Rev.
