Walter "Billy" Franklin Francisco, Jr.

Mr. Walter Franklin "Billy" Francisco, Jr. of Alton, Virginia died Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the Piney Forest Health & Rehab. He was born in Halifax County, Virginia on April 16, 1934 and was 79 years old. He was the son of the late William Franklin Francisco, Sr. and the late Willie Grace McCormick Francisco and married to the late Mary Barker Francisco. He was a member of the First Crossroads Baptist Church. Mr. Walter Franklin "Billy" Francisco, Jr. is survived by: One Brother Jimmy H. Francisco of Virginia Beach, VA Two Sisters Gracie Harper of Cleo, SC Peggy Chisholm of Danville, VA Stepchildren: Steve Barker (Janice), Phillip Barker (Melody), Jeff Barker (Sheri), Gary Barker, Joan Young (Charles). Step grandchildren Andria Garrison, Renea Fuller, Ashley Tuttle, Allison Young, and Leslie Young. Step great grandchildren Hayden Garrison, Caleb Teetor, Hailey Fretwell, T. Fretwell, and Payton Tuttle. Preceded in death by: Four brothers, Curtis Francisco, John Francisco, Joe Francisco and Leroy Francisco One sister, Virginia Murphy Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at the First Crossroads Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
