Mrs. Mattie Sue Cole Mills of Halifax, Virginia died Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born in Halifax County, Virginia November 4, 1935 and was 78 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Mayfield Cole and Rosetta Griffin Cole and is survived by her husband, William D. Mills, Jr. Mrs. Mills was a member of Falling River Baptist Church where she was a member of the W. M. U., a devoted minister's wife, and thrived at directing live dramas in churches in which she served. Mrs. Mattie Sue Cole Mills is survived by: Her Husband William D. Lynn Marstin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
