Infant Madelyn Scott Owen of Halifax, Virginia died at birth Tuesday, December 10, 2013. She was the daughter of Robert Berkley " Robbie" Owen and Jennifer Nicole Mills. Madelyn Scott Owen is survived by: Her Mother Jennifer Nicole Mills of Halifax Her Father Robert Berkley "Robbie" Owen of Halifax Half Brother Cody Collins Owen of Halifax Maternal Grandmother Sharon Ambrose Jennings of Halifax Maternal Grandfather William D. Mills. III of Halifax Paternal Grandparents Brice & Pat Owen of Scottsburg Great-Grandparents Maternal Great-Grandparents Dora Ambrose of Halifax and the late Ernest H. Ambrose Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Mills, Jr. of Halifax Paternal Great-Grandparents Ruby H. Yancey of Halifax and the late Berkley Yancey Helen A. Owen of Clover and the late Willie G. Owen Uncles James Brandon Mills & fiance Wendy Michael Chad Owen & son Stephen Owen of Louisville, KY Many other loved family members and friends. Preceded also in death by uncle Matthew Scott Mills Funeral Services for Madelyn Scott Owen will be held at Hunting Creek Baptist Church , Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 2:00 P. M. with the Rev. W. D. "Dib" Mills, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
