Anita Carr Talbott

Mrs. Anita Carr Talbott of Greenville, SC, and formerly of South Boston, VA, died Saturday, October 5, 2013 in Greenville. She was born in Halifax County, VA on March 10, 1917 and was 96 years old. She was married to the late Arthur Crafton Talbott and was the daughter of the late Silas Baker Carr and Winnie Haley Carr. She was a member of the Teachey Presbyterian Church, Teachey, NC. Survivors include: One daughter Nancy Talbott Teachey of Greenville, SC One son Graham M. Talbott of Concord, NC Four grandchildren Benjamin Glenn Teachey Michael Paul Teachey Lisa Talbott Lisson Dr. Greg A. Talbott Seven great grandchildren A funeral service will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
