Nora Lynn Russell

Ms. Nora Lynn Russell of South Boston, Virginia died Monday, October 07, 2013 at The Woodview. She was born in Manassas, Virginia April 6, 1964 and was 49 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Charles Linville Russell, Sr. and is survived by her mother, Jo Anne Miller Russell. Ms. Russell was a Girl Scout Leader, assistant teacher with Halifax County Community Action, 1991-1999, was a 2004 graduate of Averett University with a BA in Education, Taught Pre-K at Meadville Elementary School , 2005-2009 and was teacher of the year at Meadville Elementary School in 2009. Ms. Nora Lynn Russell is survived by: One Daughter Jodie Russell of South Boston One Son Anthony Russell of South Boston Her Mother Jo Anne Miller Russell One Sister Helen Martin of Westmont, IL One Brother Charles Russell, Jr. of Benson, NC Formerly married to Brian K. East A Memorial Service for Ms. Nora Lynn Russell will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 A. M. with the Rev. Dan Ward and Brenda Fuller officiating.
