Moselle Butterworth Beatty

Mrs. Moselle Butterworth Beatty of Halifax, VA died Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born in Chestnut Hill, PA on October 28, 1920 and was 92 years old. She was the daughter of the late DeHaven Butterworth and Moselle Olive Williams Butterworth and was married to the late Paul Cousart Beatty. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church where she was a former member of the Altar Guild and the Womens Guild. Survivors include: One daughter Sherryl Anne Beatty Jones and husband Robert L. Jones of Halifax She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Paul Craig Beatty and one brother, DeHaven Butterworth. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. John's Episcopal Church, Halifax, with Interim Rector The Reverend Cleon Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. After the graveside committal, the family will greet friends during a reception in the church undercroft.
