Dell Stacey Thomason

Mr. Dell Stacey Thomason of 2207 Cluster Springs Road, South Boston, VA passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Berry Hill Health and Rehab Center. He was born in Halifax County on April 25, 1964 and was 49 years old. He was the son of Maxwell Lane "Bo" Thomason Sr. and Pearl Puryear Thomason who survive. He was a member of Black Walnut Baptist Church and was employed by Bo's Hydraulics. Survivors include: His parents Maxwell Lane "Bo" Thomason and friend Robin Davis of South Boston Pearl Puryear Thomason of South Boston His daughter Katie Leanne Thomason of Roxboro, NC His son Maxwell David "Max" Thomason of Roxboro, NC One brother Maxwell Lane Thomason Jr. and wife Beverly of South Boston One sister Terri T. Younger and husband Greg of South Boston Two nieces and one nephew Bridget Thomason Blake Younger Autumn Younger, all of South Boston A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Norman Talley conducting the service. Burial will follow at The Thomason Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Bo Thomason, 1010 Clark Jordan Trail, South Boston, on Monday evening from 6-8:00 PM. For memorials, please consider a charity of your choice.
