Sara Inez Rudder Owen

Mrs. Sara Inez Rudder Owen of Nathalie, Virginia died September 2, 2013 at the Woodview Nursing Home. She was born November 17, 1934 in Halifax County, Virginia and was 78 years old. She was the daughter of the late George Garnett Rudder and the late Margie Marie Saunders Rudder and married to Edwill Earl Owen, who survives. She was a member of the Liberty Christian Church and the Liberty Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillary. She is survived by: Her Husband Edwill Earl Owen of Nathalie Two Sons James E. Owen and wife Debbie of Nathalie David M. Owen and wife Cindi of South Boston Eight Grandchildren Seven Great-Grandchildren One Brother Charlie Rudder of South Boston Preceded in death by: One son, George Edward Owen One brother, Ernest Rudder Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Liberty Christian Church with the Rev. Tim Owen and the Rev. Leroy Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
