Barbara Crews Lacy

Lacy, Barbara Crews Died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in Johnston Willis Hospital in Richmond, Va. She fought a long and hard battle against her debilitating disease PSP. Beautiful Barbara loved everyone she met and everyone she met loved her. Her smile was as beautiful as she was, and would light up a room. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Gilbert Crews of South Boston, Va. She is survived by her brother Charles Gilbert Crews Jr. of Greensboro, NC. Her husband William C. Lacy, and three children; Mark Preston Lacy of Greeneville, SC and William C. Lacy Jr and Lynn Lacy Lewis of Richmond, Va. Seven grandchildren; Matthew Walker Lacy, Dylan Scott Lacy and Ryan Austin Lacy of South Carolina. William Coles Lacy III, Emily Walker Lacy, Caroline Lacy Lewis, Rose Meriwether Lewis, all of Richmond. In accordance with her wishes, there will be a graveside service in South Boston, Va. at Oak Ridge Cemetery at 2:00 P. M. on Friday, August 30, 2013.
