Louis Jennings Owen

Mr. Louis Jennings Owen of South Boston, Virginia died August 9, 2013 at the Boston Commons Assisted Living Facility. He was born December 28, 1917 in Halifax County, Virginia and was 95 years old. He was the son of the late Tom Owen and the late Ella Jennings Owen and was married to the late Lottie Cole Owen. He was a member of the Halifax United Methodist Church and World War II Army Veteran. Mr. Louis Jennings Owen is survived by: Three Nieces Bettie W. Smith Donna Blanks Sue Adt Four Nephews Wayne Weatherford Allen Keith Inge Tommy Inge Dr. Ken Owen Preceded in death by: Three Sisters Louise Weatherford, Alice Inge and Virginia Jennings Three Brothers Jim Owen, Floyd Owen and Kent Owen Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Halifax United Methodist Church with the Rev. Randy Williams officiating. Burial will be Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, Virginia.
