William Charles Schumann

Mr. William Charles Schumann of Halifax, Virginia died Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Durham Regional Hospital. He was born in Queens, New York May 27, 1936 and was 77 years of age. He was the son of the late Joseph W. Schumann and Sadie McVitty Watson Schumann and is survived by his wife Ann Katherine Pisano Schumann. Mr. Schumann was serving as a Magistrate in Halifax County, Virginia at the time of his death, a New York City Police Officer retired after 33 years , a Police Officer in Florida and a member of the Christ the King Lutheran in Danville, Virginia. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the American Legion in Danville, Virginia. Mr. William Charles Schumann is survived by: His wife Ann P. Schumann of Durham, NC Seven Grandchildren Two Great-Grandchildren ***He was preceded in death by one sister Jane Hart Funeral Services for Mr. William Charles Schumann will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, July 29, 2013 at 3:00 P.
