Ruth Clark Smith

Mrs. Ruth Clark Smith of Halifax, Virginia, died Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born April 11, 1921 in Chatham, Virginia and was the only daughter of the late George Walter Clark and the late Madie Wells Clark and was married to the late Elvin T. Smith, Sr. She was a member of the Halifax United Methodist Church and the Halifax County/South Boston Improvement Council. Mrs. Ruth Clark Smith is survived by: One Son Elvin T. Smith, Jr. and wife Katherleen of New Smyrna Beach, FL Four Grandchildren: Brandon Smith & wife Rebecca of Marietta, GA Christianna Romaker & husband Dean of Ft. Irwin, CA Camye Womble of Raleigh, NC Mark Womble & wife Heather of Halifax, VA Five Great Grandchildren: Joshua Romaker & Katelynn Romaker of Van Buren, OH Alyssa Martinez of Marietta, GA Dalton Womble & Reed Womble of Halifax, VA One Sister-In-Law:Mrs. Donna S. Perkins Clark, Jennings F. Clark and Billy T. Clark A Memorial Service for Mrs. Ruth Clark Smith will be held at the Halifax United Methodist Church at 11:00 A. M. Friday, June 28, 2013 with the Rev.
