Marion Conner Vanselette

Mrs. Marion Conner Vanselette of 1110 Chatham Road, Halifax, VA passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at her home. She was born in Halifax County on June 21, 1935 and was 77 years old. She was the daughter of the late James Albert Conner and Janie Elizabeth Russell Conner and was married to the late Edward Roland Vanselette. She attended Centerville Baptist Church. Survivors include: One daughter Elizabeth Gayle Smith and husband James Ray of Cabot, AR Two granddaughters Melody Lafollett of Beebe, AR Elizabeth Free and husband Danny of Ward, AR Four great grandchildren Hayden Lafollett, Haylee Lafollett, Karson Hughes, and Adalyn Hughes One sister-in-law Ruth Conner of Halifax Her beloved dog "BJ" A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Todd McClure conducting the service. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 7-8:30 PM at Powell Funeral Home.
