Frances Lloyd Seamster

Mrs. Frances Lloyd Seamster of 1065 East Oak Hill Drive, Halifax, VA died Sunday, June 16, 2013 at her home. She was born in Halifax County on June 7, 1929 and was 84 years old. She was the daughter of the late Ben Lloyd and Kate Lloyd and was married to the late Clarence D. Seamster. She was a member of Ash Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include: One daughter Judy S. Ivey of Halifax One grandson Daniel S. Ivey of Halifax One brother Billy Lloyd of Madison Heights Close family friends Kayanne and Will Nelson of Charlottesville A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Eure conducting the service. Burial will follow at Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7-8:30 PM and other times at her home.
