Frances Shepard Sneed

Mrs. Frances Shepard Sneed of Halifax, Virginia died Monday, June 3, 2013 at the Envoy of Forest Hill in Richmond, Virginia. She was born in Chase City, Virginia on March 9, 1926 and was 87 years old. She was the daughter of the late George Fulton Shepard and the late Annie Laurie Edmonds Shepard and married to the late Arthur E. Sneed. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. Mrs. Frances S. Sneed is survived by: Two Daughters June Angela S. Foster of Halifax Linda Sneed Schneider of Chesterfield, VA Three Sons Arthur Eugene "Chip" Sneed of Chesterfield, VA Mark Shepard Sneed of Chesterfield, VA John Cully Sneed of Charlotte Church, VA Seven Grandchildren Thirteen Great-Grandchildren Ten Great-Great-Grandchildren One Sister Gladys Black of Suffolk, VA Preceded in death by One Son Stephen Michael Sneed One Sister Laura Shepard Hoyle One Brother George Fulton Shephard Funeral services will be held Friday, June 7, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ with the Rev. Buddy Rose, the Rev. Jerry Adams and the Rev. Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
