Paul Mark Steube

Mr. Paul Mark Steube of South Boston, Virginia died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Duke University Medical Center. He was born in Halifax County, Virginia on June 1, 1941 and was 71 years old. He was the son of the late William Ernest Steube and the late Ruth Earl Overstreet Steube and married to Judith Lynn Monk Steube, who survives. Mr. Steube was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church and U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran where he served as a Commander and Helicopter Pilot. He was also past president and an active member of the South Boston Lions Club. Mr. Paul Mark Steube is survived by: His Wife Judith M. Steube of South Boston Two Sons Lee Barton Steube of Richmond, VA George Ernest Steube of South Boston One Granddaughter Meleila Martinez of New Jersey Preceded in death by: Two brothers, Casper and William Steube One sister, Estelle Steube Clay Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Trinity Episcopal Church with the Very Rev. Susan Grimm and the Rev. Dane Skelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery with military rites. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home, Monday, May 13, 2013 from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. and other times at his home, 1725 Chamberlain St., South Boston, VA.
