Terry Daniel Meadows

Mr. Terry Daniel Meadows, Sr. of South Boston, Virginia died Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Halifax Regional Hospital. He was born in South Boston, Virginia, March 31, 1950 and was 63 years of age. He was the son of the late Isaiah Meadows and Annie Daniel Meadows and is survived by his wife Gale Vernon Meadows. Mr. Meadows attended Trinity Pentecostal Church, was a member of Faulkner Memorial Lodge #91, Sons of the American Legion, played and coached South Boston Dixie Youth Baseball and was on the Halifax County Sports Hall of Fame Selection Committee. He was employed for 43 years with Century Link. Meadows & Jackie of South Boston, VA Funeral services for Mr. Terry Daniel Meadows will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 2:00 P. M. with the Rev. Steve Dyer, the Rev. Dan Ward and the Rev. Jack Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home, Saturday from 7-8:30 P.M. and other times at the home, 3130 East Hyco Road, South Boston, Virginia.
