Mrs. Marjorie Eulalia Nichols Dalton Mrs. Majorie Eulalia Nichols Dalton of Scottsburg, Virginia died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at her home. She was born in Halifax County, Virginia on May 29, 1931 and was 81 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Mack Calvin Nichols, Sr. and Ada Fallen Nichols and was also preceded in death by her husband John Clinton Dalton. She was a member of the Winns Creek Baptist Church and was dedicated to her family. She is survived by: One Son Mark Clinton Dalton and wife Trudy of Halifax Three Daughters Mary Betterton Mabe of Scottsburg Leatha Ann Dalton of Scottsburg Freida Dalton Penzer & Doug Moore of Chase City Seven Grandchildren Paul Rayburn"Buzzy" Mabe , Jr. Jamie (Eulalia) Johnson Lester Nicole Moorefield Heather Moorefield Womble & husband Mark James H. "Jay" Moorefield III & Brittany Conner Tonya Penzer & David Seamster Crystal Penzer & C. J. Powell & Pauline "Skip" Holt She was preceded in death by: One Brother, Mack "Hambone" Nichols, Jr. One Grandson, Jerry Rayburn Mabe Funeral services will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 at 5:00 P.M. at the Winns Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Kopco officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at the home 1089 Clays Mill School Road, Scottsburg, Va.
