Robert Edward Marshall, Jr. Mr. Robert Edward Marshall, Jr. of Halifax, Virginia died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Halifax Regional Hospital. He was born in Danville, Virginia September 7, 1934 and was 78 years of age. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Edward Marshall, Sr. and is survived by his mother Wilmoth Layne Marshall. He is also survived by his wife Joyce Witt Marshall. Mr. Marshall was a U. S. Navy Veteran and was retired as a meat department manager with Winn Dixie. M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Vance Midgett officiating. Burial will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens.
