James Arthur Harris

Mr. James Arthur Harris of Cody Road, Nathalie, Virginia died Friday, March 29, 2013 at MCV in Richmond. He was born July 3, 1948 in Halifax County, Virginia and was 64 years of age. He was the son of the late William Dallas Harris and Blanche Mae Walker Harris and was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Strange Harris. Mr. Harris attended Faith Baptist Church in Brookneal. Mr. James Arthur Harris is survived by: One Son Matthew Dillon Harris of Harrisonburg, VA One Step-Son Garland & Diane Strange of Clover, VA One Step-Daughter Diane & Clint Womack of Cluster Springs, VA One Granddaughter Amy Harris of Halifax, VA One Brother William T. Harris of Volens, VA One Sister Mamie Seamster of Hunting Creek, VA Three Step-Grandsons A number of nieces and nephews A Graveside Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Republican Grove Monday, April 1, 2013 at 2:00 P. M. with the Rev. James Keys officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at the home of his brother, William T.
