Mrs. Louise Glass Lester of Halifax, Virginia died, Wednesday March 6, 2013 at her home. She was born in June 27, 1932 in Halifax County, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Norman Glass and Recie Ann King Glass and was married to the late James T. Lester, Sr. Mrs. Glass was a member of the New Harvest Assembly of God. Mrs. Louise Glass Lester is survived by: Three Daughters: Carolyn Wieringo of Scottsburg, VA Vicki Hooper of Halifax, VA Janet Inge of South Boston, VA One Son: James T. Lester, Jr. of Palmdale, CA Seven Grandchildren: Josh Lester, Nick Lester, Rebecca Lester Bryant Inge, Sarah Inge, Jessica Hooper & Caleb Hooper Two Brothers: Roy "Woody" Glass & Myrtle of Halifax, VA Noel Glass & Margaret of Halifax, VA One Sister: Shirley Saunders of Halifax,VA A number of nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by: Three sisters: Carrie Midkiff, Janie Daniel, Barbara Ann Viar Three brothers: Acie Glass, Hampton Glass & Thomas Glass A Graveside Service for Mrs. Louise Glass Lester will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:00 A. M. at Halifax Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Fielding Cage officiating. A Memorial Service will be held on the same day at 1:00 P.M. at the New Harvest Assembly of God with the Rev. Fielding Cage and the Rev. Kevin Milkarek conducting the service. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter Janet Inge, 500 Cheverly Drive, South Boston, Virginia, Friday from 6-8 P. M.
