William Dean Owen

Mr. William Dean "Wild Bill" Owen of South Boston, Virginia died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at his home. He was born in Halifax County, Virginia on March 8, 1946 and was 66 years old. He was the son of the late Willie Fuller Owen and the late Gertrude Nichols Owen. Mr. Owen was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. William Dean "Wild Bill" Owen is survived by: One Sister Levern Owen Hazelwood and husband Richard of Halifax A number of nieces and nephews Preceded in death by Four sisters Gracie Owen Douglas Mildred Owen Moser Marian Parker Owen Carolyn Owen Snow Three brothers Lawrence Fuller Owen Kenneth Calvin Owen Alfred Simmon Owen His fiancé Marie Jenkins Graveside services for will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11:00 A. M. at the Clover Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Brummitt and the Rev. Rick Stigle officiating. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home, Friday, 7-8:30 P.
