Mr. Wayne Gordon Betterton of Nathalie, Virginia died February 23, 2013 at his home. He was born September 8, 1952 in Halifax County, Virginia. He was the son of the late Elmo Thornton Betterton and Berta Talbott Betterton. Mr. Betterton was a member of Liberty Christian Church. Mr. Wayne Gordon Betterton is survived by: One daughter Christy Dawn Miles of Winston-Salem, NC Three Granddaughters Destiny Ramos Alejanara Ramos Serenity Miles One Grandson Zander Miles Two Brothers Wesley "Jim" Betterton of Nathalie, VA David Betterton of Nathalie, VA One Sister Mae Yeatts of Java, VA ***Preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Betterton & George Betterton A Celebration of Life will be held at Liberty Christian Church Friday, March 1, 2013 at 2:00 P. M. with the Rev. Tim Owen officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of his brother David Betterton, 1117 Millstone Church Trail, Nathalie, VA.
