Charles Chrysler Cooper, Sr.

Mr. Charles Chrysler Cooper, Sr. of Halifax, Virginia died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at his home. He was born in Halifax County, Virginia on March 26, 1937 and was 75 years old. He was the son of the late Thomas F. Cooper, Sr. and the late Grace Ward Cooper and married to Dale Lester Cooper, who survives. He was a member of the Seven Oaks Baptist Church and retired owner of the Cooper Insurance Agency. He is survived by: His Wife Dale Lester Cooper of Halifax One Son Charles Chrysler Cooper, Jr. and wife Pam of Wood, NC One Daughter Sandra C. Bane and husband Charles of Halifax Four Grandchildren Chris Cooper, Charlsie Vanderpoel, Emily Bane and Casey Daniel Four Great Grandchildren Hannah Grace Cooper, Christopher Cooper, Gracey Cooper and Braxton Vanderpoel One Sister Julia Whitt of Virgilina Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Seven Oaks Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy McMillan officiating. Burial will follow in the Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at the Seven Oaks Baptist Church and other times at his home.
