Teresa Smith Pool

Teresa Smith Pool of South Boston, Virginia died Sunday, December 9, 2012 at her home. She was born in Whiteville, North Carolina, September 30, 1960 and was 52 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Joe Thomas Smith Jr. and Marilyn Hinson Smith, who survives. She is also survived by her husband Richard "Ricky" Hartley Pool. Teresa Smith Pool was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church, the Halifax Country Club and was founder of the Vision Pool, a charitable foundation for eye research. M. with the Rev. George Gorman officiating. Entombment will follow Thursday, at 11:00 A. M. in Columbus Memorial Park, Whiteville, North Carolina with arrangements by Peacock Funeral Home, 1227 South Madison Street, Whiteville, NC.
