Dorothy Mae Persinger Rowsey

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Persinger Rowsey of Nathalie, Virginia died Monday, November 12, 2012 at her home. She was born September 22, 1938 in Alleghany County, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Stanley Edward Persinger and Nancy Elizabeth Bailey Persinger and was married to Leslie Allen Rowsey, Sr. Dot was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved God, her family and children of all ages. She was a living reflection of God's love and a shining example of forgiveness. We will miss her smile, her song and her laughter. T. of Nathalie, and Karen R. Knicely & husband Dale of Fredericksburg Two sons: L. Allen Rowsey, Jr. & wife Lori of Dumfries & Christopher S. Davis, Brandon Rowsey, Austin Rowsey, Anna Davis, Josh Kussmann, Ariana Anderson, Briana Anderson, Dylan Rowsey, Maggie Knicely, Erik Knicely, Malena Russett, Ryan Knicely, Hannah Knicely, Justin Knicely, Sarah Knicely, Lilah Rowsey & Jeremiah Knicely Four great-grandchildren, Noah Rowsey, Ella Roadfeldt, Karsyn Kussmann & Hazel King Two sisters, Martha Ella Carter of Covington & Nancy Carol Hubbard & husband Ben of Covington A number of nieces & Nephews Graveside Services for Mrs. Dorothy Mae Persinger Rowsey will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 1:00 P. M. at the Rowsey Family Cemetery with the Rev Ted Fortenberry officiating. The family will receive friends at the home.
