Mrs. Lennie Mae Guill Brown of Halifax, Virginia died Thursday, November 8, 2012 at South Boston Manor. She was born in Halifax County, Virginia January 29, 1927 and was 85 years of age. She was the daughter of the late James Walter Guill and Eva Martin Guill and was preceded in death by her husband Maynard Lee Brown. Mrs. Brown was a member of Beth Car Baptist Church. Mrs. Lennie Mae Guill Brown is survived by: Two Sons: Kenneth M. Brown & wife Jean of Clarksville Terry L. Brown & wife Susan of Archdale, NC Two Grandsons: Kevin Brown Keith Brown & wife Amy One Granddaughter: Karen Brown Four Great-Grandsons: Simon, Liam, Sayer & Levi Three Nieces: Donna Garber Lewis, Carol Brown Harding, & Patsy Brown Gravitt Six Nephews: Jimmy Garber, Wayne Garber, Phil Brown, Mike Brown, Larry Jennings & Tommy Jennings Special Friends: Mildred Womack, Vivian Garber, Sandra Chandler, Linda Moore, Indira Wood, Marsha Wood, Maryam Scott & Yolanda Davis ***Preceded in death by her sister, Mildred G. Garber Funeral Services for Mrs. Lennie Mae Guill Brown will be held Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 3:00 P. M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Michael Parnell officiating. Burial will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home for one hour prior to the service and other times at her home, 2005 Mountain Road, Halifax, Virginia.
