Annie Bell King Wood

Mrs. Annie Bell King Wood of South Boston, Virginia went to her heavenly home Friday, November 9, 2012. She was born in Halifax County, Virginia on November 6, 1930 and was 82 years old. She was the daughter of the late Oliver Cromwell King and the late Mary Jenny Shelton King and married to Harvey Leon Wood who survives. She was a member of the True Light Baptist Church. Mrs. Annie Bell King Wood is survived by: Her Husband Harvey Leon Wood of South Boston Two Daughters Patty Wood Carr of Halifax Susan Wood Bomar of Nathalie Three Grandchildren Robert White, Jr. of Anchorage, Alaska Justin Bomar of Halifax Lane Carr of Halifax Three Great-Grandchildren Ashley Chavers of Seattle, Washington Chase Bomar of Nathalie Kaylee Williams of Nathalie One Brother Jack King of Lynchburg A number of nieces and nephews Preceded in death by: Three brothers, Russell, Roy and Melvin King One sister, Edna Elder Funeral services will be held Monday, November 12, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the True Light Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Union United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, November11, 2012 from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at the True Light Baptist Church and other times at her home.
