Floyd Ralph Dyer

Mr. Floyd Ralph Dyer of South Boston, Virginia died Friday, November 02, 2012 at his home. He was born in Halifax County, Virginia on April 12, 1938 and was 74 years old. He was the son of the late Gilbert Grant Dyer and the late Lucy Belle New Dyer and married to the late Lorene Waller Dyer and the late Fannie Lois Dyer. He was a member of the Ingram Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church and a retired paint contractor. Mr. Floyd Ralph Dyer is survived by: One Daughter Patricia Ann Dyer of South Boston One Son Vince Dyer of South Boston Two sisters Rochelle Rudder of South Boston Jo Ann Hudson and husband Ernie of New Bern, NC Two brothers Billy Dyer and wife Polly of South Boston Grant Dyer and wife Deborah of South Boston A number of nieces and nephews Graveside Services will be held Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Halifax Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ron Sexton officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at his home, 300 Chalmers St., South Boston, Virginia.
