Eva Jean Maddox Harris

Mrs. Eva Jean Maddox Harris of South Boston, Virginia died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at her home. She was born in Altavista, Virginia June 21, 1941 and was 71 years of age. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas Maddox and Johnsie King Maddox Sterns and was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lindsay "Bob" Harris. Mrs. Harris donated the land and buildings that today house the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center, The Prizery and The Innovation Center. She was retired as Owner-Operatorof Yancey Wholesale Supply. Mrs. Eva Jean Maddox Harris is survived by: One Son Robert Michael Harris & wife Donna of South Boston, VA Two Grandsons Ryan Michael Harris of South Boston, VA Grayson Lindsay Harris of South Boston, VA One Step-Granddaughter Stacey M.
