Mary Baylous Fears

Mary Baylous Fears of 2090 Winns Creek Road, Halifax, VA died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born in Halifax County on April 9, 1953 and was 58 years old. She was the daughter of the late Overton Smiley Baylous and Odell Warren Baylous and was married to Larry Wayne Fears Sr. She was a member of Winns Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include: Her husband Larry Wayne Fears Sr. of Halifax One son Larry Wayne Fears Jr. of Halifax Four sisters Judy P. Vivian and husband Keith of SC Ann Fears and husband James of Halifax Betty Dickerson and husband David of Halifax Inez Baylous of Halifax Two brothers George Baylous and wife Billie Jean of Halifax Nelson W. Pulliam and wife Pat of Halifax Two grandchildren Briana Fears and Jacob Poteat of Halifax Preceded in death by two brothers, JD Baylous and William Henry Baylous and two sisters, Carolyn B. Powell and Eunice B. Munn. A funeral Service will be held at Winns Creek Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Rev. James Kopko conducting the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Winns Creek Baptist Church fellowship hall Monday evening from 7-8:30 PM.
