Mrs. Lois Rachel Conner Gravitt Mrs. Lois Rachel Conner Gravitt of Wilkesboro, NC, formerly of Halifax County, VA died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center in North Wilkesboro, NC after a short illness. She was born in Halifax County, VA on September 5, 1935 and was 76 years old. She was the daughter of the late Otis Victor Conner and the late Virginia Lois Walker Conner and married to the late Rev. George Henry Gravitt. She was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church. Mrs. Lois Rachel Conner Gravitt is survived by: One Daughter Marcia Laine G. Reynolds and husband Buzz of Wilkesboro, NC Two Grandchildren Virginia Laine Reynolds of Wilkesboro, NC Rex Reynolds III of Elon, NC One Sister Ann Dawson of Alton, VA She was preceded in death by: One daughter, Jocelyn Ann Gravitt One granddaughter, Rachel Conner Reynolds One sister, Carol Popek Funeral services will be held Friday, April 6, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Main Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ed Rigg officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, April 6, 2012 for one hour prior to the service at Main Street United Methodist Church, South Boston, VA.
