Ronald John Garrett

Mr. Ronald John Garrett of 810 Riley Avenue, South Boston, VA, died December 16, 2011 at Halifax Regional Hospital. He was born in San Bernardino, CA on November 4, 1947 and was 64 years old. He was the son of the late Jack Ellwyn Garrett and Gisela Peters Garrett who survives. He was a graduate of the Southern Colorado State College and was a retired teacher in Colorado Springs, CO. He also was a 32nd degree Mason with the Silver State Lodge #95 AF&AM and a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Colorado Springs - Pueblo Orient of Colorado. Survivors include: One daughter Heather G. Poloa and husband Leka M. Poloa of South Boston His mother Gisela P. Garrett of Longmont, CO One brother Jack Ellwyn Garrett Jr. and his wife Barbara B. Garrett of Longmont, CO Four grandchildren Kristen Ariel Masesie of South Boston Kelemente Robert-Joseph Poloa of South Boston Katherine Mary Masesie of South Boston Lauiloa Ron-Rae Poloa of South Boston Nephews Zachaary T. Garrett, Samuel B. Garrett, and Joel E. Garrett of Longmont, CO His cat Critter His remains will be cremated and a service and interment will be held early summer in Pueblo, CO.
