Dr. Dewey Allen Adams

Dr. Dewey Allen Adams of Clover,VA died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Halifax Regional Hospital. He was born in Fuquay Springs, NC on April 29, 1931 and was 80 years old. He was the son of the late Roy Alton Adams and Eva Alice Champion Adams and was married to Mary Jewel Short Adams who survives. Dr. Adams was a member of the Clover Baptist Church where he was a deacon, Sunday School teacher, and song leader. He also was a member of the Halifax County Bee Keepers Association. Dr. Adams was a lifelong educator holding positions in Vocational Technical Education at universities including Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, and Ohio State.
