Jeanette Owen Ligon

Mrs. Jeanette Owen Ligon of 1227 Scottsburg Road, Scottsburg, Virginia died Monday, May 30, 2011 at Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born in Halifax County, Virginia August 13, 1944 and was 66 years of age. She was the daughter of the late John H. Owen, Sr. and Jenny Canada Owen and was married to Alfred D. Ligon. Mrs. Ligon was a member of Scottsburg United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir. She touched countless lives with her kind spirit, generosity and willingness to help her family, friends and even those she would never meet.
