Reba Booker Fox

Mrs. Reba Booker Fox of 501 VES Road, Lynchburg,VA, died Monday, September 20, 2010 at Westminster Canterbury in Lynchburg. She was born in Lynchburg May 26, 1922 and was 88 years old. She was the daughter of the late Parham Hubert Booker and Maggie Pill.ow Booker and was married to Dr. Earl R. Fox who survives. After being captain of the field hockey team and on the Honor Council at Westhampton College, graduating in 1943, Reba's interests turned to early TV, where she had her own cooking and variety show at WTVR in Richmond and WSUN in St. Petersburg. She was active in the Women's group Salty Sisters in the St. Petersburg Yacht Club organizing regattas and then active in the wives' group in the Coast Guard after Earl's career change resulting in his retirement as an Admiral. On retirement to South Boston and St. Petersburg, REba was a member of the DAR and the First Baptist Church in South Boston.
